Ter versterking van ons aankoopteam zijn wij op zoek naar een aankoop-logistiek talent.
Functieomschrijving:
Binnen ons inkoopteam ben je een sterke teamplayer in onze logistieke supply chain.
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het sourcen van de juiste leveranciers/fabrikanten, het vinden van kwaliteitsvolle producten, het negotiëren van de inkoopvoorwaarden, het analyseren van de “total product cost” en het opvolgen van bestelling tot en met de leveringen bij de klant.
Je orderportefeuille volg je van A tot Z op en dit in nauwe samenwerking met de sales accountmanager.
Prijsvergelijking, problem-solving, dagelijkse communicatie met Europese leveranciers zijn belangrijke onderdelen van je takenpakket.
- Je werkt in een dynamische, innovatieve en servicegerichte firma
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de aankoop van producten tot het organiseren van nationale en internationale transporten en zorgt dat de leveringen tijdig op locatie toekomen
- Je bereidt de inklaring van goederen voor, plant containers in en voert (on-site) inspecties uit van de goederen
- Je doet aan kostenopvolging binnen jouw vakgebied
Profielomschrijving:
- Je hebt een bachelordiploma in een relevante opleiding of gelijkwaardig door bewezen ervaring
- Je hebt minimum 2-3 jaar ervaring in aankoop en/of logistiek
- Je durft initiatief te nemen en bent een sterke communicator
- Je bent hands-on ingesteld en bent een echte problem solver
- Je bent punctueel
- Je bent vlot tweetalig (NL en ENG). Extra talen zijn een plus
- Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B. Ervaring met het rijden van een vorkheftruck is een plus
- Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel en ERP-omgevingen
- Je bent flexibel, stressbestendig en een echte teamplayer

Smidt-imex is a leading European company in the promotional gift sector. Our clients, mainly internationally active in the FMCG sector and other industries, appreciate us for our excellent service, in-depth product knowledge. We always aim for safe and qualitative products.
As we are expanding our local markets, we are looking for an account manager based in Belgium, in the Antwerp area.

The role: Account Manager
As an Account Manager, you will manage your own customer base and contribute to its expansion.
Your creativity and problem-solving skills will enable you to provide tailor-made solutions that perfectly meet your clients’ needs. Together with your colleagues, account managers, and sales executives, you will work on identifying new markets and increasing our clients’ sales through our promotional products.
What will you do?

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
What do we expect from you?
- Experience in the promotional products sector is desirable but not required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Creativity and problem-solving ability
- A team player who enjoys working with both Belgian and international colleagues
- Results-oriented mindset and capability of achieving sales targets
- A valid driver’s license (Type B)
